It's already hard enough to be a mom, but it is even more harder when a mom is a student. It is hard to put time aside to study when you have children especially when the children are always around you. There is no quiet time for a mom to focus and concentrate on her studies. A mom is probably frequently interrupted while she is studying or has to stop studying just to take care of her kids. It also make things hard for a mom when she has to find someone to watch over the children while she is in school. Even when finding a baby sitter she still has to pay them to watch the kids. Some mothers also don't like the fact of leaving their children. With the expenses of kids, going to school makes it even more expensive for moms. She will have to pay for things such books and tuition fees, which she will be spending even more money.
For me, finding the time to study is very hard and it gets very frustrating when I can't focus on my studies, especially when I know that I have a test or quiz the next day. From my experience, my son is always bugging me and wanting things every time i do try to study. The best time a mom probably has to study is early in the morning or really late at night, which is during the time that the children are sleeping. Another time a mom could probably study if she has kids that are in school, but it might be a problem if she is also working. Moms that are students have to find a schedule that works for her, but it is not easy.

Changes
When a person becomes a mom she goes through all these different changes. A change that she could go through could be something physically. She might change the way she dresses because dressing a certain way might be inappropiate when a person is a mom. If a mom goes out with her child in a really short dress that is too revealing, people might look at her and judge her in a bad way. Her body would probably also change. She might not have as much energy as she did before she had a child. Another change that a mom goes through is the way she thinks. A mom always have to think twice about everything and whether or not it is the best interest for her child. For example, if a young mom that is her twenty's is invited to go out to a club or bar she would probably not go because she would rather stay home to take care of her child. If she wasn't a mom then she would probably end up going. A mom has to think about how she wants her to raise her child and what she wants the child to grow up to be like. The big changes that a mom go through is the different stages of age that the child becomes, like from an infant to a toddler, or from a big kid to a teenager. Each stage the child is constantly changing because they are learning new things and so is the mom. Mom has to learn to discipline differently at every stages of age the child goes through.
It is not a easy change when a mom goes through the changes of the different age steps. When a child is an infant, their always changing in that stage. Mom have to deal with the constant change of the infant's sleeping pattern because an infant doesn't always sleep in the same patterns during the first twelve months of birth. She also has to go the changes of the infant's eatting patterns. An infant only drinks formula for the first six months and after that the infant will start eatting solid foods. When a child becomes a toddler they go through all these emotions and that is when they learn how to talk and walk and become more active.

Budgeting
People don't know how expensive kids are until they have one of their own. Moms of course, do know how expensive kids can be. A mom would have to learn how to budget her money and she becomes her own accountant. When it comes to buying things, a mom would have to budget her money and use it wisely. She can budget her money by buying things that she only needs. When she buys things that are not necessary she might be spending money that she might need later on. Another way a mom might budget her money is buying generic brand items or store name items. Purchasing generic brand products are usually cheaper than labeled brand products. People can even save from a couple of cents to a couple of dollars when they buy generic products. When it comes to shopping, moms really have to budget her money to save that few extra dollars and strength out her money.
Budgeting money is what every mom should learn to do because it will help her save a whole lot of money. It would also help her realize what to buy such knowing the difference between something she wants and something she needs. She will learn buy the things she really needs compared to the those luxury things she wants. It would be really helpful too when it comes to paying her utilities and rent. In the end if a mom budgets her money well and wisely, she will probably have enough money to buy some nice for her self or something that she wants. She might even just save enough money to take her kids out.

Disciplining A Child
When kids aren't behaving, moms have to learn how to discipline them. Disciplining a child is a hard thing to do. A mom has to set rules for the kids to follow to let them know that there are consequences when these rules are broken. A way a mom could discipline her child is by taking away some of the child's privileges. For example, when a teenager breaks their curfew, a mom could discipline the teenager by grounding the teen for a couple of weeks. She can also take away their allowances. By doing this the teenager will learn that they have to gain their mom's trust again and that they have to earn it back. It will probably also prevent them from doing it again. Another example is, if a child hasn't been listening at all, and then asked if they can have a snack; a mom can tell the child no. This will teach the child they don't deserve any snacks because of their behavior. Another way you could discipline a child is by putting them on time out. When a child acts out, a mom can put their child on time out by letting the child sit quietly on a chair, in a corner, and not letting them doing anything. Putting a child on time out will let the child calm down and help them realize why they are put on time out in the first place. A way a mom should not discipline her child is by the form of abuse. When you hit a child it does not teach them anything. Hitting a child only hurts the child and the child wouldn't learn or see what they are doing wrong or even know that they are being punished for something they did. Taking a kids privileges away because of their behavior will teach them that their mom is only trying to discipline them when they are doing something wrong. She does this by taking away their rights when they are not behaving. She is also teaching them that there are rules to be followed. When my son starts to cry because he want something that he can't have, I take him into the room with me and make him lay down in bed with me. I would tell him that there is no reason to cry and that because he is crying, he can't go outside and play until he learns how to not cry for things just because he wants it. He would cry for at least fifteen minutes until he realizes that it does nothing. When he stops, he asks me if he can go play and I would tell him no because of the way he was behaving. Taking away his playtime he won't be able to do anything, but just lay there in bed with me. I also take away the television time and his toys from. This teaches him that it’s a privilege and that he has to learn how to earn it back. There are plenty of ways a mom could discipline her child, but disciplining a child is not an easy job.

A Friend
One of the best thing about being a mom is, you are also a friend. You get to build a friendship with your kids. They play with you and laugh at jokes with you. They listen to you and you would also listen to them. While growing up kids tells their moms all their secrets, even if it just a little one. I think a mom is a child's closest friend because mothers knows their kids better than anyone else. Right now my son is at the age where he is starting to know the meaning of friendship and what having friends is like. He is always telling me things like, mommy you are my friend and my buddy. When I ask him why I am his friend, he would say because I play with him and listen to him talk. As of right now I am probably his best friend because he is only 3 years old and I am the person who he is around the most. A mom can be supportive of her kids in the same way a friend supports a friend. Showing support could come in different ways, such as going to a friend's football game. When you attend their games, you are there cheering for them and is there to support them whether they win or lose. When someone is sad or need a shoulder to cry on, they always have a friend that they can count on to go to. Some times a child need their mom to be a friend rather than a mom. Moms would just have to figure out which part they have to play depending on the situation they are in. A mom does all the things that a friend could do and probably even more.

A Teacher
When you are a mom, you are also a teacher. A mom is like a teacher because she has to teach her kids all sort of things while they are growing up. Some things that a mom might teach her kids is how to tie their shoes or how to use eating utensils. Children learns things from their mom the same way they would from a school teacher. Moms also teaches their kids how to count and help them learn the alphabets to prepare them for school. Moms teaches their kids to prepare for things that they are unaware of, like helping you learn how big the world is. She teaches you your cultural backgrounds helping you find your identity and knowing who you are and from you are from. At a young age a child would not learn as much thing if their moms were not there to teach them.

A Caretaker
When you are a mom, you also have the job as caretaker . The reason why i said a mom is a caretaker is because you automatically take the responsibilities for all the duties you perform. Some of these duties includes: taking care of the children when they are sick by giving them the right amount of dosage for medicines or taking them to the doctors. A caretaker has different meanings to it depending on how you use the term, but one meaning for it is that you are a person who takes care of another person. The people that you take care of is your children. What a mom does to take care of her kids is, preparing meals for them and keeping them clean by bathing them. A mom also dresses her kids and takes them shopping. Another meaning to the term caretaker is, a person who is in charged of maintenance of a building. That also applies to a mom because she takes care of the home by keeping it neat and clean. She picks after the kids and cleans up their messes. She also makes sure everything is child safety. So being a mom could a caretaker in many ways just by the duties that she performs.
